Symalit® Flex PVDF

Symalit 1000 Flex PVDF is a semi-crystalline unreinforced Fluoropolymer combining good mechanical, thermal and electrical properties with excellent chemical resistance. It also shows good resistance to high-energy radiation. In addition, the composition of the raw material used for the production of Symalit Flex PVDF products complies with the regulations of the European Union (Directive 2002/72/EC, as amended) and the United States of America (FDA) for plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs. Symalit 1000 Flex PVDF is a versatile engineering material especially suitable for the manufacture of components for the petro-chemical, chemical, metallurgical, food, paper, textile, semiconductor, pharmaceutical and nuclear industries.

Lining of reactors, tanks, transport tanks, containers for chemicals.

Symalit 1000 Flex PVDF has improved resistance to torsions, which is beneficial in transport applications.

At low temperatures, it stays softer than standard PVDF, which is an advantage in locations where temperature drops remarkably during the change of the seasons, and where fabricated equipment has to be transported during the winter times.
